FAQ

What is threading?

Threading is the ancient Indian technique of using a string thread to remove hair from unwanted areas, such as eyebrows, upper lips, and chins. It does not involve the use of any products or chemicals, just a simple thread and skillful fingers!

How does threading compare to waxing?

When compared to waxing, threading is actually more precise and better for one’s skin. Threading does not constantly pull on one’s skin like waxing does, therefore making it a practice that is much easier and better for one’s skin. Threading is also more exact because the threader can shape your eyebrows exactly how you want them – down to the last few hairs. Another big advantage is that the effects of threading last longer than waxing, making it easier to always have beautiful eyebrows.

Does it hurt?

Threading does not cause any damage to your body or skin and involves much less pain than waxing or plucking. Many first-timers are left pleasantly surprised by the minimal level of pain.

How often should I get my eyebrows threaded?

Eyebrows usually look their best during the 2 to 3 weeks that follow a threading session. This tends to be 3 weeks on average, with a longer time for those with slow hair growth and a shorter time for those with rapid hair growth.

Is it only for women?

Not at all! Threading amongst men is increasingly more common and nothing to shy away from. A good threader can shape a man’s eyebrows in a way that makes them look completely natural and masculine. Come in and try it!

Do you only thread eyebrows?

While eyebrows are the most common part of the face to get threaded, upper lips, cheeks, necks, foreheads, and chins are just as easy to work on. Again, it is much better to thread these parts of one’s face than wax them, and we offer very affordable rates!
